WATERFORD B.C. JUVENILE SECTION
Our juvenile section meets on a number of occasions during the week and is aimed at kids aged from 7 -19 years old. We cater for all abilities so the best way for your child to see if they enjoy badminton is to drop in on a Friday night and give it a try. They will just need a tracksuit and runners and the €5 euro cover charge to start. Our certified coaches offer various levels of training to suit each child as well as the opportunity to go and play competitions as a part of club, county, and provincial teams.
As the child's ability progresses, they may be offered the opportunity to train with smaller groups of more advanced and experienced juvenile players during the week - here we prepare the juveniles for competitive play in their appropriate age group and grade.
Our primary Juvenile session is Friday Evening in the Ursuline Secondary School - this is the best way to get an introduction to the club and decide which level of participation and coaching is appropriate for the juvenile player.

Tuesday: Girls Only Training (aimed at increasing teenage girls participation in badminton)

6:00pm – 7:15pm (Younger Juvenile Players)
7.15pm - 8.30pm (Older Juveniles)

No charge if you have attended one of the earlier sessions in the week - otherwise €5.
Parent Volunteers
We are constantly looking for parents to assist with supervision. It's a great way to spend time with your child and is very rewarding. You don't need to have any prior knowledge of the game , just be willing and able to help out. Drop in and see us at one of the listed sessions.
